The 2019-2020 school year is in full swing! Here is a quick run down on the latest happenings at BBES:
Wendel’s Fun Run (Oct 17)
We just kicked off the biggest fundraiser of the year: Wendel’s Fun Run and the students are super excited for this year’s prizes:
- 1st Place Grade (Most money raised overall): Slime your teachers and the administration!
- 1st Place Class (Most money raised overall): Dance Party with Wendel
- 2nd Place Class: Extra Recess
Weekly incentives will be offered throughout the fundraiser, so SHARE SHARE SHARE!! We are really counting on your help to make this year the best one yet. Don’t forget to register your student at BBESFunRun.com. See you at the run on October 17th!
Watch D.O.G.S. (Oct 3)
One of THE COOLEST initiatives we have at our school, Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) will be having an Annual pizza party/orientation for our fathers/father figures on Thursday, October 3rd from 6:30-7:30 pm. Watch D.O.G.S. volunteers get to choose at least one day out of the school year to come in, give the morning announcements, spend time in your student’s class and give high fives all around. Our students love our Watch D.O.G.S.!!
Trunk-Or-Treat (Oct 26)
This year, our Trunk-or-Treat will be held on a Saturday to give our volunteers more time to decorate their trunks and to make it a bit safer for our students. Stay tuned for more info!
Upcoming Spirit Nights
October 3 – Spirit Night at Uno’s
4470 Long Gate Parkway, Off Route 100 11 AM-11PM
Up to 20% of your check goes to our BBES PTA – Must have a copy of the flier! Dine-in or Carry out. Two copies of the flier will go home with students so you can share the second copy with a friend or neighbor!
October 22nd – Spirit Night at Jasons Deli
8874 McGaw Road, Columbia 5M-10PM
